NSA EUROTOUR frequently asked questions (FAQ) UPDATED 081425
- Should participants purchase travel insurance?
While it is not mandatory and we do not offer it, NSA does recommend purchasing travel insurance to the level that would bring peace of mind to your family and provide protection against unforeseen circumstances. Many levels of policies from various underwriters are available.
In 2025, a family’s flight was delayed 5+ hours. They were notified of reimbursement when the flight finally departed by the insurance for the delay. In addition, they can still file claims with the airlines for the inconvenience.
In 2022, we had a player infected with COVID-19 and had to quarantine. Her family purchased travel insurance that included medical trip interruption coverage, and they were able to successfully be reimbursed for that unused portion of the trip while the player had to stay away.
- Do participants book their own air travel?
Yes, to provide maximum flexibility, participants book their own air travel to match their family’s schedules. Sightseeing with family a few days before or after the tour are popular options.
- Can supporters join only part of the Eurotour?
Yes, Supporters can join part of the Eurotour since it is not easy for most to take that much time off work.
- Should supporters book their own land travels during the Eurotour dates?
NO. NSA works closely with the tournaments to ensure our land travel matches the playing schedules and other activities. The NSA Eurotour travels as a big family. Supporters are required to book all land travel through NSA for the days they wish to join the Eurotour so the players/supporters/staff are together to participate in all activities and travel as a group. This enables all to make new friends and minimizes mishaps so we can all focus on providing excellent experiences for your children. Most supporters will only join the weeks of the tournaments (either one or two weeks). Fees will be prorated accordingly.
