Most of these agreements identify California Community courts that can be used instead of a SJSU course to meet secondary requirements specific to the SJSU. From university to university and other regionally accredited higher education and university professionals, we are not a top priority. Many transfer students from CA Community Colleges have taken Lower General Education (Core GE) courses at their home university.

This result could have been achieved through a CSU-GE width agreement or the IGETC agreement. If a student has obtained a full certification by THE CSU GE-Breadth or IGETC, he has met the requirements for core GE course work. Students should consult their Community College Advisor to plan coursework to complete these certifications.
