San Jose State Tag Agreement

These are lists of courses at public colleges or universities in California (CCC, CSU or UC) that are accepted for specific courses at San Jose State University. These articulation agreements apply only to major or minor requirements applicable to the SJS. They do not apply to GE requirements. The CCC, CSU and UC articulation agreements for GE are available on the GE Breadth or TES link below. CCC, CSU, UC articulated course conventions are listed by school or grouped by discipline/academic department. SJSU focuses primarily on securing articulation agreements with California community colleges, as they are our main feeder schools. Most of these agreements identify California Community courts that can be used instead of a SJSU course to meet secondary requirements specific to the SJSU. From university to university and other regionally accredited higher education and university professionals, we are not a top priority. Many transfer students from CA Community Colleges have taken Lower General Education (Core GE) courses at their home university.

This result could have been achieved through a CSU-GE width agreement or the IGETC agreement. If a student has obtained a full certification by THE CSU GE-Breadth or IGETC, he has met the requirements for core GE course work. Students should consult their Community College Advisor to plan coursework to complete these certifications. General broadband education agreements consist of current courses that a student can take at a California university college or another CSU to meet the requirements of California State University. International GE agreements are available below on GE`s width page. Current study programs/major documents with specific transfer agreements with California public institutions [California Community Colleges (CCC), California State Universities (CSU) or University of California (UC)]. These courses should be completed before the transfer, whenever possible. A list of extra-government colleges and their equivalencies. The available articulation agreements as well as the General Education Joint Agreements (GEs) are available below. GE course articulation agreements are only available in the links below GE Breadth or TES. SJSU articulation agreements are formal agreements between a transfer campus and the SJSU. They determine how courses taught in a transfer school can be used to meet a SJSU requirement.

In addition to the TAA/TAG program, San Jose City College offers transfer courses/major agreements with many other universities at the University of California, California State University and private/independent institutions. You`ll find other chords on the articulation page. San Jose State University has completed its transfer studies with more than 130 public colleges and universities in California. SJSU has additional articulation agreements extending beyond California public schools, which can be found in the links below of the GE Breadth and Transfer Evaluation System (TES).
